Dear Students to Utrecht 2025:

This is just an offer to learn in a different way about IoPT. It is free to join or not, just what you feel suits you.
We have 2 rooms available, so it will be possible that we do this with a smaller group and the rest does a different thing (process?) in the other room.

Already for a year I create a monthly session where I highlight one of the many topics we can think about while being an IoPT facilitator. And then we dive into the topic one by one.

The Building Blocks that were offered the last year are below.
The advantage to take one of these topics is that I have already prepared those, so to look at it now will take minimum effort from me, and you are then totally free to choose.

I can put these topics on a flipover and on Monday morning you are free to rate which topic you like most. That way we can see where the interest goes to and I will go with that.

• 09 - Tuesday May 20th 2025 - On when do we intervene in the IoPT process
• 10 - Thursday June 26th 2025 - On (how) can we prevent retraumatization
• 11 - Monday August 25th 2025 - On the roles in an IoPT process

I love teaching in a way that allows you to learn exactly what you can/want to learn at that moment. So everyone is free to take from it what is according to your needs of the moment. Also to share that what you can share that is relevant to the topic of the day.
And this will not be 'teaching', it is really 'sharing'. We are all equal and all have experience!

I definitely do not say my thinking should be your thinking, so I just show my thoughts (in a small presentation, to make it easy accessable) and then you are free to add your thoughts to that. My thoughts are just the startpoint, and we can see where we land.

The presentation is just a start for discussion and to share with each other how we encounter this in our work as facilitators, and what do we find when we are client ourselves, or sometimes as resonator..

I will write something down about this and can share it with you afterwards, including the presentation.

Let us find out and be curious.
And if nobody feels for this, that is fine with me too (and possibly I am a little disappointed.. ;-))
